Duyguların Yatırım Kararı Üzerine Etkisinin Yapısal Eşitlik Modeli ile Değerlendirilmesi

Abstract

Yatırım kararı tüm yatırımcılar için önemli bir kazancın veya kaybın ilk adımıdır. Dolayısıyla yatırım ile alakalı karar verme sürecine etki eden bütün etmenler ayrıca önemlidir. Bu sürece etki eden ekonomik ve finansal etmenlerin yanı sıra yatırımcıların bir insan olması sebebi ile kendilerinden kaynaklı etmenlerde bulunmaktadır. Çalışmada bu duygusal değişkenlerden olan ve karar verme sürecine etkisi incelenen umut, korku, üzüntü ve öfke değişkenleri ele alınmıştır. Bu amaçla 440 üniversite öğrencisinin yatırım kararlarına duyguların etkisi incelemek için anket uygulanmıştır. Çalışmada anket yöntemi ile toplanan veriler Yapısal Eşitlik Modeli (YEM) kullanılarak analiz edilmiştir. Çalışma sonucunda üzüntü ve umut değişkenlerinin yatırım kararına etki ettiği gözlemlenmiştir. Her iki değişkeninde yatırım kararına etkisi aynı yönde gerçekleşmiştir. Umutlu yatırımcının yatırım yapma niyeti umut sahibi olmayan yatırımcıya göre daha yüksek olarak gerçekleşmiştir. Aynı durum üzüntü duygusu için de geçerli olup etki katsayısı 0,10 olarak gerçekleşmekle beraber sınırlı olarak kalmıştır.
