Lojistik Süreçlerde Dış Kaynak Kullanımı: Freight Forwarder Firmalar

Abstract

Günümüzde artan rekabet ve küreselleşme koşulları işletmeleri hızlı olmaya sevk ederken; alanlarında daha yüksek bir uzmanlık seviyesine çıkmalarını da zorunlu hale getirmiştir. Bunun yanı sıra tüm bunları gerçekleştirirken işletmeler için maliyet unsuru önemli bir yer tutmaktadır. Bu koşulları sağlamak adına işletmeler kendilerine rekabet avantajı sunan temel yetenekleri dışında kalan konular için bu hizmetleri veren firmalarla iş birliği yapmaktadırlar. Bu iş birlikleri firmanın uzmanlık alanı hariç tüm faaliyet süreçlerinde ortaya çıkabilmektedir. Ortaya çıkış sebebi maliyeti azaltmak olan dış kaynak kullanımı (outsourcing) kavramı günümüzde de firmalara hem rekabet hem de maliyet avantajı sağlamaya devam etmektedir. Firmalar temel yetenekleri dışında kalan tüm masraflı faaliyetler için dış kaynak kullanımı yoluna giderken ilk tercih edilenlerin başında lojistik faaliyetler gelmektedir. Bu faaliyetleri sunan Freight Forwarder firmalar sektör için önemli bir yer tutmaktadır.
