Boreout Sendromunun Kariyer Uyumluluğu ve Kariyer İyimserliği Arasındaki İlişki Bağlamında Analizi Üzerine Bir Uygulama

Abstract

Örgütlerin başarılı olmalarında en önemli nedenlerden birisinin sahip oldukları beşeri sermayelerin olduğu düşünülmektedir. Buna ek olarak örgütlerin nitelikli personele sahip olmaları gerekliliği aşikârdır. Örgütte işgörenlerin nitelikli olmaları gerekliliğinin yanı sıra örgüt ikliminin de işgörenleri motive edici olması beklenmektedir. Ayrıca işgörenlerin kendilerini ruhsal anlamda tatmin edecek işleri yapmalarının onları motive edeceği düşünülmektedir. Bu bağlamda örgütte asli işini yerine getiren işgörenin yapacak iş bulamaması nedeniyle kendini rahatsız hissetmesi veya üstlendiği görevin sahip olduğu kapasitesi altında olması gibi nedenlerden dolayı mutsuzluk hissetmesi olası bir durum haline gelmektedir. Yazında Boreout Sendromu olarak tanımlanan durum işgörenlerin asli işlerini yerine getirdikten sonra yapacak iş bulamamaları nedeniyle sıkılma ve bıkkınlık hissetme halleri olarak tanımlanmakla birlikte bu sendrom sonucunun olumsuz sonuçlar doğuracağı görülmektedir. Bu bağlamda işgörenlerin sıkılma halleri meslekleri hakkında olumsuz duygular hissetmelerine sebep olacaktır. Araştırma kapsamında Selçuk Üniversitesi idari personellerinden elde edilen veriler (n=250) kullanılarak, boreout sendromunun kariyer uyumluluğu ile kariyer iyimserliği ilişkileri incelenmiştir. Elde edilen bulgular sonucunda “boreout ile kariyer uyumluluğu” arasında negatif yönlü, anlamlı (r= -.399, p=0.000
