Üniversite Öğrencilerinin Kariyer Değerler Algılarının Karşılaştırılmasına Yönelik Bir Araştırma

Abstract

Bir bireyin hayatını düşündüğümüzde zamanının ciddi bir bölümünü iş yaşantısında geçmektedir. Durum böyleyken insanların iş yerlerinde kendilerini iyi hissetmeleri, yaptıkları işten zevk almaları onlar açısından önemlidir. Bu da ancak insanların sevdiği işi yapması ile mümkündür. Bireylerin yaptığı işi sevmelerinde belirleyici olan faktörlerden biriside eğitim hayatlarıdır. Çünkü eğitim hayatı bireyin gelecekte nasıl bir kariyere sahip olacağını doğrudan şekillendirmektedir. Bireylerin özellikle üniversite döneminde tercih ettikleri bölüm kariyerleri için önemli bir basamaktır. Üniversite bölüm tercihlerinde seçmiş oldukları bölümün ön lisans ya da lisans olması bireylerde kariyer değer algılarında farklılıklar oluşturduğu düşünülmektedir. Bu bağlamda, bu araştırmada kariyerin önemli bir belirleyici parçası olan üniversite yaşantısındaki lisans ve ön lisans öğrencilerinin kariyer değer algılarının ortaya konulması amaçlanmıştır. Çalışma nicel bir araştırma olup veri toplamak için bir anket çalışması yapılmıştır. Anketlere verilen cevapların sonucuna göre ön lisans ve lisans öğrencilerin kariyer değer algıları boyutlar itibariyle ortalamaları birbirinden farklı çıkmıştır. Bunun yanı sıra, öğrencilerin kariyer değer algılarının demografik değişkenlerle incelenmesinde istatistiki açıdan anlamlı farklılıklar olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır.
