Ekonomik Büyüme Ve İnovasyon Arasındaki İlişkinin İncelenmesi: Gaziantep Örneği

Abstract

Bilgi ekonomisi çağında piyasa aktörleri toplumsal refahı ve rekabeti yükseltebilmek için ekonomik büyümeyi sağlayacak ve geliştirecek olan kaynaklara gereksinim duymaktadırlar. Bu kaynaklar bilgi, teknoloji ve inovasyon ile ekonomik sistem içerisinde ortaya çıkmaktadır. Özellikle ekonomik büyümede ihtiyaç duyulan kaynakların karşılanmasında inovasyon sistemleri kilit rol üstlenmektedirler. Bu nedenle inovasyonların bir üretim faktörü gibi karşımıza çıktığı bilgi ekonomisinde ekonomik büyüme ile arasındaki ilişkinin incelenmesi önem arz etmektedir. Bu çalışmada inovasyon ile ekonomik büyüme arasındaki ilişki normalizasyon yöntemleriyle incelenmektedir. Bu kapsamda, Gaziantep ili, TRC bölgesi ve Türkiye ortalamasının inovasyon performans endeksleriyle bölgelerin karşılaştırılmasına imkân tanıyan ölçütlerin oluşturulması amaçlanmaktadır.
