Öğretmen Adaylarının Tutum ve Motivasyon Düzeylerinin Bazı Değişkenler Açısından İncelenmesi

Abstract

Sağlıklı toplumları oluşturan önemli unsurlardan birisi eğitim sistemi ve bu sistemin etkin bir şekilde işletilmesi için en dinamik öğesiöğretmenlerdir. Öğretmenler mesleklerini icra ederken öğrencilerini olumlu ya da olumsuz olarak etkileyebildiği içinmotivasyon ve tutum öğretmenlik mesleğinde son derece önemlidir. Bu araştırma Akdeniz Üniversitesi Eğitim Fakültesi 4. sınıfta öğrenim görmekte olan öğretmen adayları ile Eğitim Fakültesinde Pedagojik Formasyon eğitimi almakta olan öğretmen adaylarının tutum ve motivasyon düzeylerinin bazı değişkenlere göre farklılık gösterip göstermediğini ölçmek amacıyla yapılmıştır. Araştırmada veri toplama aracı olarak anket yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Araştırma kapsamında 400 anket verisi analizlere dâhil edilmiş olup %54,3’ ünü pedagojik formasyon eğitimi alan öğretmen adayları ile % 45,8’ ini eğitim fakültesi 4. sınıfta öğrenim gören öğretmen adayları oluşturmaktadır. Pedagojik formasyon eğitimi ve eğitim fakültesi 4. sınıfta öğrenim gören öğretmen adaylarının motivasyon ve tutumlarının bazı değişkenler açısından farklılaşma olup olmadığını test etmek için bağımsız örneklem t testi ve tek yönlü varyans analizi kullanılmıştır. Araştırma bulgularına göre, öğretmen adaylarının motivasyondüzeylerinin eğitim türüne göre farklılaştığı görülürken, cinsiyet, yaş, okuduğu bölüm ve mezun olduğu bölüme göre farklılaşmadığı tespit edilmiştir. Öğretmen adaylarının tutum düzeylerin cinsiyete ve eğitim türüne göre farklılaştığı gözlemlenirken; yaş, okuduğu bölüm, mezun olduğu bölüm değişkenleri ile aralarında bir farklılık saptanmamıştır (p
