Portföy Yönetim Şirketlerinin Etkinlik Ölçümü: Veri Zarflama Analizi Uygulaması

Abstract

Çalışmamızda, birden çok sayıda girdi değişkeni ve çıktı değişkeninin yer alması durumunda karar birimlerinin etkinliklerinin ölçülmesinde kullanılan Veri Zarflama Analizinden faydalanmak suretiyle, Türkiye Sermaye Piyasasına kayıtlı Portföy Yönetim Şirketlerinin etkinlikleri ölçülmüştür. Bu amaçla, 2014 ve 2015 yıllarındaki etkinlik düzeyleri karşılaştırılmıştır. Türkiye Sermaye Piyasasına kayıtlı 51 adet portföy yönetim şirketinden, hem 2014 hem de 2015 yıllarında faaliyet gösteren 34 adet portföy yönetim şirketinin verileri kullanılarak veri seti oluşturulmuş, veriler ise www.kap.gov.tr adresinde yer alan Kamuyu Aydınlatma Platformu ara yüzünden elde edilmiştir. Çalışmanın sonucunda, 9 adet portföy yönetim şirketinin her iki yılda da % 100 etkin çalıştığı, 3 adet portföy yönetim şirketinin 2014 yılında etkinliği % 100 iken 2015’te etkinliklerini kaybettikleri, 2 adet portföy yönetim şirketinin ise 2014 yılında etkin çalışmadıkları halde 2015’te % 100 etkinliğe ulaştıkları sonucuna ulaşılmıştır.
