MYO Öğrencilerinin Kariyer Planlaması: Hilvan Örneği

Abstract

Yeni düzende meslek edinme ve mesleki planlama genç dimağlar için oldukça ehemmiyetlidir. Bu çalışmanın amacı, MYO öğrencilerinin kariyer planlarının ve beklentilerinin ne olduğunu değerlendirmektir. Çalışma, Harran Üniversitesi Hilvan MYO öğrencilerini kapsamaktadır. Evreni temsil etme yetisi olan 197 örnekleme %5 hata oranıyla ulaşılmıştır. Elde edilen veriler SPSS 18 paket programıyla analiz edilmiştir. Açıklayıcı Faktör Analizi ile kariyer planlaması soruları kariyer algısı ve kariyer değişimi adında iki alt bileşende toplanmıştır. Bağımsız gruplar arasındaki farklılığın testini içeren One-Way ANOVA ve Independent Samples T Testi uygulanmıştır. Analiz sonuçlarına göre, öğrencilerin okudukları programlar ile kariyer planlamaları alt bileşenlerinden kariyer algısı ve kariyer değişimi arasında anlamlı bir farklılık gözlenmemiştir. Dahası, mevcut programlarını kendi istekleri ile seçip seçmemeleri ile kariyer algısı ve kariyer değişimi alt değişkenleri arasında da anlamlı bir farklılık bulgulanmamıştır. Ancak cinsiyete göre öğrencilerin kariyer algısı arasında anlamlı bir farklılık teyit edilmiştir. En nihayetinde, öğrencilerin sınıfları ile kariyer değişimi arasında anlamlı bir farklılık elde edilmiştir.
