OECD Ülkelerinin Sağlık Göstergelerine Göre Kümeleme Analizi ile Sınıflandırılması

Abstract

Bu araştırmanın amacı, OECD ülkelerinin sağlık göstergelerine göre kümeleme analizi ile sınıflandırılmasıdır. Araştırmada, kümeleme analizine göre Türkiye’nin hangi OECD ülkeleri ile benzerlik gösterdiği belirlenmiştir. Ülkelerin kümelenmesinde etkili olan göstergeler incelenmiş ve kümeler arasındaki farklılıklar değerlendirilmiştir. Çalışmada sağlık göstergesi olarak hekim sayısı, hasta yatağı sayısı, GSYİH’den sağlığa ayrılan pay, kızamık aşısı olan çocukların yüzdesi, gini katsayısı, günlük sigara içen 15 yaş üstü erişkinlerin yüzdesi, 25-64 yaş üstü erişkinlerde okullaşma oranı, doğumdan beklenen yaşam yılı ve bebek ölüm hızı değişkenleri kullanılmıştır. Küme sayısının belirlenmesi için öncelikle hiyerarşik kümeleme yöntemlerinden yararlanılmıştır. Küme sayısı belirlendikten sonra K-ortalama kümeleme yöntemi uygulanmış, Türkiye’nin, Meksika ve Şili ile aynı kümede yer aldığı görülmüştür.
