Türkiye’de 2006-2016 Yılları Arasında Muhasebe Standartlarına İlişkin Erişime Açık Olarak Yayınlanan Lisansüstü Tezlerin Metodolojilerinin İncelenmesi

Abstract

Muhasebe standartları, finansal raporlamada ve muhasebe uygulamalarında ülkeler arasındaki farklılıkları ortadan kaldırarak finansal bilgilerin doğru, güvenilir ve gerçeğe uygun bir şekilde finansal tablo kullanıcılarına aktarılmasını sağlamaktadır. Türkiye’de de hem ulusal hem de uluslararası alanda muhasebe uygulamalarında ortak bir dile kavuşmak amacıyla standartlara önem verilmiş, çeşitli yasalar çıkarılmış ve bazı kurumlar görevlendirilmiştir. Yapılan bu çalışmalar ışığında muhasebe bilim insanları da konuya ilişkin çeşitli metodolojiler kullanarak literatüre katkı sağlamıştır. Bu çalışmada 2006- 2016 yılları arasında konu hakkında Türkiye’de yayınlanmış lisansüstü tezler araştırılmış ve metodolojileri içerik analizi yöntemi kullanılarak incelenmiştir. Araştırmanın temel amacı yayınlanmış tezlerin yıllara, standartlara, üniversitelere ve anabilim dallarına göre incelemesinin yapılması ve konu ile ilgili bilgiye ihtiyaç duyan kullanıcılara veri sağlamaktır. Elde edilen bulgularda TMS-2 Stoklar standardı en fazla çalışılan standart olarak tespit edilmiştir. Bununla birlikte TFRS tam set, TMS-12 ve TMS 16 da çalışmalarda oldukça fazla tercih edilmiştir. Bu durumun temel sebebi ise yayınlanan standartların Vergi Usul Kanunu ile uygulamada farklılıklarının bulunmasıdır.
