Türkiye’de Enerji İthalatını Belirleyen Faktörlerin Analizi

Abstract

Bu çalışmanın amacı 2013-2023 aylık verileri ile Türkiye’de enerji ithalatını belirleyen faktörlerin analiz edilmesidir. Sanayi üretim endeksi, reel efektif döviz kuru, toplam ithalat, yurtiçi üretici fiyatları enerji endeksi, ham petrol fiyatı, doğal gaz ithalat fiyatı ve kömür ithalat fiyatı bağımsız değişkenlerinin kullanıldığı çalışmada ARDL Sınır Testi yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Çalışmada kullanılan bağımlı değişken olan Türkiye’de enerji ithalatı ile bağımsız değişkenler arasında uzun dönemli ilişki tespit edilmiştir. Elde edilen sonuçlara göre enerji ithalatı ile sanayi üretim endeksi negatif, ihracat, ham petrol fiyatları ve doğalgaz fiyatları arasında pozitif ilişki mevcuttur. Reel efektif döviz kuru, yurtiçi üretici fiyatları enerji endeksi ve kömür fiyatları değişkenlerinden elde edilen katsayılar istatistiksel olarak anlamsız olduğundan yorumlanmamıştır. Üretimin zorunlu girdilerinden biri olan enerji ithalatının azaltılması mümkün olmadığından, enerji politikalarının yeniden gözden geçirilmesi gerekmektedir.
