E-Sağlık Okuryazarlığının Sağlık Bilinci ve Sağlıksız Gıda Tüketimine Etkisinin İncelenmesi: Yüksekokul Öğrencileri Üzerine Bir Araştırma

Abstract

Dijitalleşme insanların sağlıkla ilgili bilgilere ulaşabilme becerisini artırabilmektedir. Bu bağlamda, sağlıkla ilgili etkileri olduğu beklenen e-sağlık okuryazarlığı, sağlıkla ilgili birçok araştırmaya konu olmuştur. Bu araştırmada, e-sağlık okuryazarlığının, sağlık bilinci ve sağlıksız gıda tüketimine etkisini ortaya koymak amaçlanmaktadır. Araştırma amaçları doğrultusunda, e-sağlık okuryazarlığı, sağlık bilinci ve sağlıksız gıda tüketimi ölçekleri kullanılarak 351 meslek yüksekokulu öğrencisinden bırak topla anket yöntemiyle birincil veriler toplanmıştır. Elde edilen veriler üzerinde, SPSS 25 kullanılarak açıklayıcı faktör, güvenilirlik, normal dağılım ve regresyon analizleri gerçekleştirilmiştir. Analizler neticesinde, sağlık bilincinin sağlıksız gıda tüketimini negatif yönde ve e-sağlık okuryazarlığının sağlık bilincini pozitif yönde etkilediği tespit edilmiştir. Diğer taraftan her ne kadar e-sağlık okuryazarlığının sağlıksız gıda tüketimini doğrudan etkilediği tespit edilmese de sağlık bilinci aracılığıyla sağlıksız gıda tüketimini etkilediği anlaşılmaktadır. Araştırma neticesinde; sağlıkla ilgili kuruluşlarının e-sağlık okuryazarlığını destekleyici faaliyetler gerçekleştirmesi ve ilgili araştırmalarda e-sağlık okuryazarlığı değişkeninin göz önünde bulundurulması önerilmektedir.
