Sağlık Alanında Google Trendler Analizinin Kullanıldığı Araştırmalar Üzerine Bir İnceleme

Abstract

Bu çalışmada, Google Trendler analizinin kullanıldığı sağlıkla ilgili ulusal araştırma makalelerinin tespiti ve bunların farklı yönlerden ele alınıp gruplandırılması amaçlanmıştır. 18-25 Ocak 2023 tarihleri arasında gerçekleştirilen tarama işlemi sonucunda toplam 42 adet araştırma çalışma kapsamına alınıp incelenmiştir. Makalelerin %45,2’sinin 2021 yılında yazıldığı, %54,8’inin İngilizce dilinde olduğu, %42,9’unun TR Dizin’de, %14,3’ünün SCI-E’de, %11,9’unun SCI ve diğer uluslararası indekslerde, %9,5’inin Scopus’ta, %7,1’inin SSCI’da ve %2,4’ünün ise ESCI indekslerinde yer aldığı saptanmıştır. Makalelerin %71,4’ünün Covid-19 pandemisi dönemini ve sonrasını, %28,6’sının ise pandemi öncesi dönemi kapsadığı saptanmıştır. Makalelerin konularına göre dağılımları incelendiğinde; %31 ile ilk sırayı doğrudan doğruya Covid-19 ile ilgili makalelerin aldığı görülmektedir. İkinci sırayı %7,1’lik oranlarıyla; romatizmal hastalıklar, kas-iskelet sistemi ve omurga rahatsızlıkları, kardiyovasküler hastalıklar, hastalık farkındalık günleri ve sigara/e-sigara bırakma tutumları ile ilgili web aramalarının oluşturduğu ortaya konulmuştur. Genel bir değerlendirme ile sağlıkla ilgili pek çok farklı konunun Google Trendler analizine konu olduğu sonucuna varılmıştır.
