Idea rozwoju gospodarczego a metafora niewidzialnej ręki. Uwagi dotyczące interpretacji dziedzictwa Adama Smitha w trzechsetną rocznicę urodzin

Abstract

W artykule zastosowano podejście swoiste dla historii myśli ekonomicznej po to, aby przedstawić ideę rozwoju gospodarczego w kontekście mechanizmu niewidzialnej ręki. Struktura opracowania składa się z trzech części. W pierwszej przedstawiono uzasadnienie celowości zastosowania metody analizy historycznej do badanego problemu. Następnie omówiono zagadnienie rozwoju gospodarczego w interpretacji A. Smitha. Trzecia część zawiera opis badań, pokazujących sposób interpretacji rynku przez następców Smitha, a także próbę wyjaśnienia, dlaczego idee zakorzenione w klasycznej ekonomii politycznej nadal uznaje się za ważne dziedzictwo współczesnej ekonomii.
