A New Challenge – Intellectual Capital Evaluation In A Romanian University

Abstract

Over the past decade, intellectual capital evaluation is gaining importance as an approach for measuring intangibles, while the universities need a tool to manage the intangibles and to measure their performance in a new way. In order to deal with this requirement, this paper undertakes a proposal for evaluation intellectual capital in a Romanian University. This study contributes to broaden the research community’s understanding about the importance of managing and publishing information of the intellectual capital of a university. This paper offers practical help to universities to develop instrument to identify and measure their intellectual capital.
