Abstract

The Romanian public railway transportation forms, by his nature, a strategic sector of national interest. It represents a public service, important for the society; it contributes to the free traffic, solving some major economic concerns of people’s transportation or to the transportation of goods and other assets, in the country or overseas, with a high degree of safety under efficient and ecological terms.
