Abstract

Higher education in Romania has undergone significant transformations in recent years, reflecting broader economic trends, technology and societal needs. This article aims to analyze the specialization trends in the Romanian higher education between 2013 and 2020 based on the information available on the database of INSSE, highlighting the key changes, eliminations, accumulations and new introductions at the 2013 swift. By identifying the trends we can understand how higher education specializations were chosen by students according to the society's evolution.
