Abstract

Este quase experimento pesquisou as escolhas do consumidor praticante frequente de atividade fisica no consumo de alimentos funcionais e fitness. Neste experimento natural foi testada a hipotese de que ha associacao entre os objetivos almejados com uma alimentacao suplementar esportiva e a escolha de algumas cestas de produtos. Em tres fases (I, II e III), foi questionado o objetivo da alimentacao e as escolhas acerca de produtos organizados em opções nao identificadas. (I) as cestas “emagrecer†, “ganho de massa muscular†e “saude e bem-estar†nao encontraram correspondencia frente aos objetivos ja declarados. (II) as cestas light, diet, organicos e integrais encontraram correspondencia parcial na relacao com o objetivo: os produtos light e organico foram relacionados com objetivos que nao correspondiam as suas propriedades. (III) as cestas com 16 produtos foram apresentadas com preco e sem preco. Verificou-se que ha fortes evidencias para a refutacao da hipotese de pesquisa, visto que os participantes da pesquisa nao alinharam seus objetivos nutricionais com suas escolhas, suscitando um olhar para efeitos de vies emocional e desinformacao.
