Modified Bell Tawse Procedure for The Management of Chronic Monteggia Fracture-Dislocations

Abstract

Chronic dislocation of the radial head following a Monteggia fracture-dislocation is a rare but potentially devastating injury resulting in long-term impaired function and movement. Early recognition and management are essential. We present a case of a missed radial head dislocation and its subsequent management. We also review the literature and discuss the techniques described to manage this rare injury.
