Abstract

The Rotaglide Total Knee System was introduced into clinical practice in 1988. It was the first condylar Total Knee Endoprosthesis with a highly conforming mobile polyethylene insert which rotates and glides on top of a highly polished tibial component, thus theoretically reducing wear.
