Abstract

An experiment to evaluate the influence of spike removal and NPK (mix fertilizer) levels on corm growth and development of gladiolus were conducted at Horticultural Research Farms, Department of Horticulture, The University of Agriculture Peshawar, Pakistan. The experiment was laid-out in Randomized complete block Design in split plot arrangement with two factors i.e. NPK (mix fertilizer) levels at the rate of 0, 50, 100 and 150 kg ha-1 and spike removal that is control (no removal), spike removal at spike emergence stages and spike removal at flower opening stages. Different growth and yield parameters were observed.
