Abstract

Our brains are capable of thinking and feeling, making memories and recovering them, making decisions and solving problems, and observing, finding, and processing new information (to name just a few of its important functions). Our brains are also capable of pro- cessing all this information determining what is essential, what’s not essential, and what information is connected to what is already there. And when the brain does all of this, it increases our survival every step of the way.
