Abstract

The poor disposal of solid wastes can influence the health of the occupationally exposed workers, collecting the solid wastes. The present study aimed at determining the level of the trace metals (Ni, Cr, Cd, Pb) in the blood of these occupationally exposed workers to solid wastes. Furthermore, the study explored the related genotoxic, biochemical, and hematological effects of the trace metals on solid waste collection workers.
