Research on the Molecular Mechanism of Combination Triptolide with Dexamethasone in Treatment of Rheumatoid Arthritis based on Bioinformatics Analysis

Abstract

Triptolide (TP), a diterpenoid triepoxide from Tripterygium wilfordii Hook F, can ameliorate rheumatoid arthritis (RA) through multiple molecular mechanisms. However, serious side effects limit its clinic application. Previous studies have shown that combination of TP with dexamethasone (DXM) had the synergetic effect, but the mechanism is still unknown. Therefore, this study aims to investigate the molecular mechanism of combination TP with DXM in the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis by bioinformatics analysis.
