Abstract

The liver is an important metabolic organ consisting of four different sized lobes in our bodies. The important function of liver includes the elimination of toxic material, detoxication and regulation of the blood, blood clotting, and manufacture of vital hormones. It also plays a crucial role in other activities, such as pathogen protection, synthesis of bile salts, food supply, and blood collecting. There is currently no obvious mechanism that includes direct hepatotoxicity and unfavorable immune response for several study reports on hepatic damage mechanisms. Pharmaceutical bioactivation creates reactive chemical metabolites that interact with lipids, nucleic acid, and proteins in the cell, producing DNA damage, protein malfunction, lipid peroxidation, and oxidative stress.
