Abstract

Undiagnosed cases are not simply diagnosed as vertigo or dizziness in my clinic; instead, they are classified according to their symptoms, including the mode of attack occurrence, their recurrence, and relative association with a cochlear symptom. The most common of these symptoms are the “recurrent vertigo attacks without a cochlear sign.†Thus, it will be interesting to examine whether these “recurrent vertigo attacks without a cochlear sign†will lead to a definitive diagnosis or remain undiagnosed.
