Abstract

Babesiosis is a tick-borne infectious disease caused by parasites of the genus Babesia which are intra-erythrocytic protozoan. Babesiosis is a disease with a worldwide distribution, causing mild to severe systemic clinical manifestations, characterized by erythrocyte destruction
