The Law on First Aid and Its Compliance in Ghana: The Case of Drivers in Madina Bus Terminal, Accra

Abstract

First aid has been defined as the immediate treatment or care given to a person suffering from an injury or illness until more advanced or definite care is provided or the person recovers. Section 28 of the Factory, Offices and Shops Act, (Act 328) of 1970 is the law governing first aid in Ghana, which state in summary that, there should be first aider and first aid box in every office and workplace in Ghana.
