Abstract

"In this policy report, we review the literature that evaluates the statutory minimum wage, which was introduced in 2015. Empirical evidence shows that the minimum wage caused not only hourly wages but also monthly gross wages to increase. At the same time employment effects are small and concentrate on specific types of establishments and jobs." (Author's abstract, IAB-Doku) ((en))
