Abstract

"The current state of refugee integration in Germany points to gender-specific differences in employment rates, educational participation and language acquisition. Against this background, the report provides an overview of empirical evidence to date on barriers to integration among refugee women. The focus is on possible challenges due to childcare and the lack of social networks. Practice-oriented recommendations for action are presented." (Author's abstract, IAB-Doku) ((en))
