Produktionsstrategische Erfolgsfaktoren Veredelnder Weinbaubetriebe

Abstract

Die Untersuchung wirtschaftlicher Erfolgsfaktoren stellt einen wichtigen Zweig in der Agrar- und Ernährungswirtschaft dar. Bisherige Untersuchungen zum wirtschaftlichen Erfolg und dessen Faktoren beschränken sich weitgehend auf die Untersuchung von acker-, futter-, und weinbautreibenden Rohwarenproduzenten (Dautzenberg and Petersen, 2005, Schultze, 2008, Schaper et al., 2011, Petersen, 2003, Mend, 2010). Während bei Rohwarenproduzenten die strategische Ausrichtung der Kostenführerschaft das größte Erfolgspotential einnimmt, da sich Produzenten tendenziell homogener Güter als Preisnehmer sehen (Stabler and Olfert, 2000), bieten sich für veredelnde Betriebe, wie z. B. Molkereien (Winkelmann, 2004) oder flaschenweinerzeugenden Weinbaubetrieben (Iselborn and Loose, 2016), auch differenzie-rungsorientierte Produktionsstrategien an. Aufgrund des hohen Grades an horizontaler und vertikaler Produktdifferenzierung (Mueller Loose and Szolnoki, 2012) sowie der breiten Streuung wirtschaftlicher Leistungen innerhalb der Weinbranche (Iselborn and Loose, 2016), eignet sich der Betriebstyp veredelnder Weinbaubetriebe, um neue Erkenntnisse zu produktionsstrategischen Erfolgsfaktoren in der Agrar- und Ernährungswirtschaft zu gewinnen. Im vorliegenden Beitrag wurden die kosten- und differenzierungsorientierten Produktionsstrategien veredelnder Weinbaubetriebe untersucht werden, um deren Unterschiede zu Rohwa-renproduzenten abzugrenzen. Insbesondere wurden konkrete Erfolgsfaktoren analysiert werden, die den kosten- und differenzierungsorientierten Produktionsstrategien zugrunde liegen. Auf-bauend auf einem Literaturüberblick und der Darstellung der für den Weinbau spezifischen Produktionsstrategien wurde ein hypothesenbasiertes theoretisches Erfolgsmodell abgeleitet und kausalanalytisch geprüft. Im Vergleich zu bisherigen Erfolgsfaktorenstudien, die sich vornehmlich auf die Untersuchung rohwarenproduzierender Unternehmen beschränkt, bietet die Untersuchung veredelnder Produzenten weitere Erkenntnisse zu produktionsstrategischen Erfolgsfaktoren. Im Strukturmodell wurden der Einfluss des Ertrags- und Aufwandsmanagement direkt sowie die Pro-duktionsstrategien der Naturalertrags- und Differenzierungsorientierung implizit auf den wirtschaftlichen Erfolg abgebildet. Des Weiteren konnten Faktoren identifiziert werden, die maßgeblich eine der beiden Produktionsstrategien verursachen.
