Abstract

Die europäischen Erhebungen zur betrieblichen Weiterbildung (CVTS = Continuing Vocational Training Survey) liefern für die Mitgliedsstaaten der EU vergleichbare Daten zu den Weiterbildungsaktivitäten der Unternehmen hinsichtlich Angebot, Formen, Inhalten, Umfang, Kosten und Durchführung. In diesem wissenschaftlichen Diskussionspapier wird die Situation der betrieblichen Weiterbildung in Deutschland mit den anderen Mitgliedsstaaten der EU verglichen. Die Analysen beruhen auf den Ergebnissen der dritten europäischen Erhebung zur betrieblichen Weiterbildung (CVTS3) für das Jahr 2005. Neben einer grundlegenden Einordnung Deutschlands mithilfe von vier Kernindikatoren werden die unternehmensinterne bzw. -externe Durchführung von Weiterbildungskursen, die Themen der Weiterbildung, die Beteiligung unterschiedlicher Beschäftigtengruppen (z.B. Ältere, Frauen und befristet Beschäftigte) an Weiterbildung, die betrieblichen Ausgaben für Weiterbildung und die Weiterbildungsorganisation behandelt. (Autorenreferat, BIBB-Doku)
