Géographie de la résilience des régions européennes face à la crise (2008-2013)

Abstract

Cette étude analyse la géographie de la résilience des régions européennes durant la période 2008-2013. Nous mettons en évidence la concentration spatiale des régions ayant mieux résisté à la crise ou au contraire de celles qui l’ont largement subie. Notre étude révèle une grande diversité des régions dans leur capacité de résistance, dont la géogra-phie ne coïncide pas exactement avec la carte des régions métropolitaines. Puis, nous identifions des déterminants potentiels de la résilience des régions européennes en pre-nant en compte des facteurs institutionnels, d'innovation, sociodémographiques et du marché du travail. Les résultats suggèrent que les disparités régionales de la résilience régionale sont principalement déterminées par des facteurs tels que le niveau d'innova-tion, d’éducation ou encore la qualité de l'administration régionale.
