Abstract

Zusammenfassung Das Internet der Dinge wäre undenkbar ohne den rapiden technologischen Fortschritt in der Telekommunikation während der vergangenen Jahrzehnte von spezialisierten schmalbandigen Netzen hin zu All-IP-Breitbandnetzen. Dadurch wird ein hochvolumiger Transport von Datenpaketen für ein großes Spektrum von Anwendungsdiensten möglich. Die Entwicklung des Internets der Dinge hängt entscheidend von den Qualitätsanforderungen bei der Datenpaketübertragung ab, damit Sensornetze, Adaptoren oder intelligente Regler ein zeitkritisches Management in stationären und mobilen Netzen umsetzen können. Von entscheidender Bedeutung für die Entwicklung von intelligenten Netzen ist die Verknüpfung der physischen Welt mit komplementären virtuellen Netzen.
