Persoenlichkeit und Personalforschung. Vorstellung einer Kurzskala zur Messung der „Big Five“ (Personality and Human Resource Management Research. Introduction of a Short “Big Five” Measurement Tool)

Abstract

In personalwirtschaftlich motivierten Studien muessen oftmals Persoenlichkeitsmerkmale beruecksichtigt werden. Die validierten Standardinstrumente der Persoenlichkeitspsychologie sind aufgrund ihres Umfangs nur bedingt fuer diesen Zweck geeignet. Wir berichten ueber die Adaption eines englischsprachigen Kurzinstruments zur Messung der Big Five. Das uebertragene Messinstrument wird an einer studentischen Stichprobe validiert, wozu wir neben klassischen Item- und Skalenanalysen sowie explorativen Faktorenanalysen konfirmatorische Multitrait-Multimethod-Matrizen einsetzen. Im Ergebnis zeigt sich, dass das Messinstrument mit relativ geringem Aufwand einsetzbar ist und den Guetemassen der klassischen Testtheorie entspricht.
