Profitperzisztencia vizsgálata a magyar sertésszektorban
[Analysis of profit persistence in the Hungarian pig sector]

Abstract

Tanulmányunkban a magyar sertésszektor versenyjellegét vizsgáltuk 2006 és 2016 közötti adatokon, dinamikus panelmodellel. A sertéságazat az elmúlt húsz évben jelentősen átalakult, s egyértelmű az a trend, hogy a kisüzemméretű sertéstartás nem életképes. Tanulmányunkban az abnormális profit (iparági profit feletti rész) perzisztenciájával mértük a piaci versenyt. A vizsgálat alapján elmondható, hogy a profitperzisztencia szignifikáns, de alacsony: alacsonyabb, mint az élelmiszer- vagy feldolgozóiparban. A sertéságazati profitszint közel áll az egyensúlyi profithoz. Továbbá megállapítható, hogy az üzemenkénti átlagos sertésegyedszám (minden korcsoportot beleértve), valamint a vissza nem térítendő támogatások arányának növekedésével csökken a verseny, azaz növekszik az abnormális profit, amelyet a vásárolt takarmányok csökkentenek, azaz jövedelmezőbb, ha az üzemek saját takarmányból fedezik a takarmányozási költségeket. A technológiai (elsősorban gé pesítettség növelő) beruházások önmagukban nem, csak az élőmunka-kiváltó hatás esetén javítják a sertéstartás jövedelmezőségét.
