Las cadenas de valor y su importancia en los procesos de comercialización en los mercados hortofrutícolas de México. Evidencia con información de la Encuesta Nacional Ingreso Gasto de los Hogares 2014

Abstract

En la comercialización de los productos hortofrutícolas existen problemas para tener mercados competitivos, donde el productor agrícola venda directamente sus productos al consumidor final. En el presente trabajo se muestra la teoría de las cadenas de valor el cual tiene como objetivo la eficiencia en la comercialización de los productos para encontrar nichos de mercado que favorezcan a los productores. En este sentido si existieran cadenas de valor eficientes para la comercialización de los productos hortofrutícolas, como lo son las frutas y las verduras, entonces habría beneficios para los consumidores y productores. Los resultados y conclusiones muestran la dificultad para los productores hortofrutícolas en encontrar nichos de mercado para la comercialización de sus productos, pues los consumidores mexicanos destinan poco gasto al consumo de frutas y verduras, lo cual ha generado problemas de salud en la población de México./ In the marketing of the fruit and vegetables products there are problems to have competitive markets, where the agricultural producer directly sells its products to the final consumer. The present research shows the theory of value chains, which aims at the efficiency in the marketing of products to find market niches that favor producers. In this sense, if there were efficient value chains for the marketing of the fruit and vegetables products, then there would be benefits for consumers and producers. The results and the conclusions show the difficulty for the fruit and vegetable producers to find market niches for the commercialization of their products, since Mexican consumers spend little to the consumption of fruits and vegetables, which has generated health problems in the population of Mexico.Classification-JEL: O13,O21.
