Abstract

Examina la caída del producto por habitante de la región a partir de 1981, que se estancó porque la inversión descendió, lo que se debió a las transferencias netas de recursos al exterior generadas por la crisis de la deuda, y al fuerte deterioro de la relación de precios de intercambio a partir de 1982.
