Abstract

Das ifo Institut führte im Jahr 2004 im Auftrag der Europäischen Kommission eine umfangreiche empirische Studie zu arbeitsmarktrelevanten Fragestellungen durch. Dabei wurden die Branchen Industrie, Einzelhandel und Dienstleistungen im Rahmen einer Stichprobe nach verschiedenen Aspekten der Arbeits- und Betriebszeit befragt. Eine ähnliche Umfrage gab es 1999 für die gleichen Wirtschaftszweige. Der Artikel führt einige aktuelle Fakten und Trends im Bereich der Beschäftigung auf.
