Die aktuelle Finanz- und Wirtschaftskrise: Welche Erkenntnisse können aus der Vergangenheit gewonnen werden?
Abstract
Die Finanzkrise der Vereinigten Staaten hat sich in den vergangenen Monaten zu einer weltweiten Finanz- und Wirtschaftskrise ausgeweitet. Die Auswirkungen der Krise auf die Entwicklung der Weltwirtschaft werden seitdem kontrovers diskutiert. Für eine Einschätzung der aktuellen Krise kann ein Blick in die Vergangenheit von Nutzen sein. So zeigt eine aktuelle Studie des Internationalen Währungsfonds, dass die Intensität von Rezessionen stark von den Entwicklungen der Immobilien-, Kredit- und Kapitalmärkte abhängt. Dabei wird deutlich, dass insbesondere Störungen der Kredit- und Immobilienmärkte schwere Belastungen für die Wirtschaftskraft eines Landes sein können. Der vorliegende Artikel fasst die wesentlichen Ergebnisse der Studie zusammen und diskutiert die gewonnenen Erkenntnisse für die aktuelle Situation der Weltwirtschaft und in Deutschland.Download Info
