Zur Subjektivierung von Arbeit

Abstract

In Diskursen um die künftige Entwicklung von Erwerbsarbeit wird verschiedentlich betont, daß individuellen Handlungen und Deutungen der Subjekte im Arbeitsprozeß eine zunehmende Bedeutung zukomme. Diese Entwicklung fassen wir begrifflich als "Subjektivierung von Arbeit" im Sinne eines Wechselverhältnisses zwischen einzelnem Subjekt und Arbeit: Die Individuen tragen mehr "Subjektives" in die Arbeit hinein und/oder die Arbeit fordert immer mehr "Subjektives" von den Individuen. Ziel dieses Papers ist es, mit einer Sichtung verschiedener soziologischer Forschungsbereiche zentrale Merkmale einer solchen "Subjektivierung" herauszuarbeiten, um sie anschließend nach einer weiteren Begriffspräzisierung einer kritischen Bewertung zu unterziehen, die Schlußfolgerungen über die veränderte Qualität des Wechselverhältnisses von arbeitender Person und Arbeitswelt und diesbezügliche gesellschaftliche Auswirkungen ermöglichen soll.
