Die Abgrenzung von Arbeitsmarktregionen: Gütekriterien und -maßzahlen

Abstract

Die Diskussion um unterschiedliche Abgrenzungsverfahren von funktionalen Arbeitsmarktregionen lebt in jüngerer Zeit wieder auf. Die Verwendung verschiedener Abgrenzungsverfahren führt zumeist auch zu unterschiedlich zugeschnittenen regionalen Arbeitsmärkten. Um die Unterschiede in den Zuschnitten systematisch vergleichen zu können, werden Kriterien zur Bewertung der Qualität von Arbeitsmarktregionen abgeleitet und entsprechende Maßzahlen entwickelt. Anhand dieser Maßzahlen werden die Ergebnisse zweier Abgrenzungsverfahren, die beide auf einer Analyse der Pendlerverflechtungen basieren, für Thüringen und Sachsen-Anhalt verglichen.
