Deindustrialisierung: Realität oder Schreckgespenst?

Abstract

Strukturprobleme, eine schwindende Attraktivität des Wirtschaftsstandorts sowie diverse Krisen haben der deutschen Industrie zuletzt massiv zugesetzt. Produktions- und Beschäftigungsrückgänge, Rezession und eine deutliche Zunahme von Unternehmensinsolvenzen sind die Folge. Um diese Abwärtsspirale zu stoppen und die chronische Wachstumsschwäche zu überwinden, bedarf es insbesondere in den Bereichen Steuern, Energie- und Arbeitskosten sowie Bürokratie grundlegende Reformen. Damit Deutschland als Wirtschaftsstandort wieder an Attraktivität gewinnt, müssen die Fehler der Vergangenheit durch wirtschaftspolitische Weichenstellungen, die unternehmerische Freiheiten fördern und staatlichen Interventionismus zurückdrängen, korrigiert werden.
