Krankenhaus Rating Report 2010: Licht und Schatten

Abstract

Bei dem vorliegenden Krankenhaus Rating Report 2010 handelt es sich um den sechsten. Sein wichtigstes Ziel ist die Verbesserung der Transparenz im deutschen Krankenhausmarkt. Daraus abgeleitet ergibt sich der Anspruch, den Entscheidungsträgern auf den verschiedenen Ebenen (Krankenhäuser und deren Geschäftspartner, Politik, Krankenversicherungen, Banken und Investoren) empirisch abgesicherte Erkenntnisse über diesen Markt an die Hand zu geben. Für die aktuelle Ausgabe hat sich die Datenlage weiter verbessert. Die Zahl der untersuchten Jahresabschlüsse aus 2007 konnte auf 713 gesteigert werden, sie umfassen insgesamt 1 032 Krankenhäuser. Auch lagen bereits 264 Jahresabschlüsse aus 2008 vor. Dies erlaubt detaillierte Analysen, z.B. zur Lage der kleinen Kliniken sowie zu regionalen Unterschieden. Erstmals untersuchen wir auch die Lage der psychiatrischen und psychotherapeutischen Kliniken sowie regionale Unterschiede hinsichtlich der Lage der kommunalen Krankenhäuser, auch in Bezug auf den Schuldenstand der Gemeinden. Außerdem findet ein neues Modell zur Bestimmung des Personalbedarfs Berücksichtigung. Schließlich widmen wir uns der Gestaltung der ländlichen Versorgung in der Zukunft.
