Frauen auf landwirtschaftlichen Betrieben in Deutschland - Leben und Arbeit, Herausforderungen und Wünsche: Befragungsergebnisse von über 7.000 Frauen

Abstract

Frauen erfüllen auf landwirtschaftlichen Betrieben die verschiedensten Rollen - Betriebsleiterin, mithelfende Familienarbeitskraft, Partnerin, Mutter, Köchin, Pflegende und viele andere mehr. Die befragten Frauen erleben in der Mehrheit diese Rollenvielfalt als erfüllende Herausforderung, manchmal jedoch auch als große Belastung und Überforderung. Abgeschiedene Wohnlage, lange Wege im ländlichen Raum und wenig Freizeit kommen für viele Frauen erschwerend hinzu. Trotz ihrer hohen Arbeitsmotivation, ihres großen Einsatzes für Betrieb und Familie verfügen die befragten Frauen nur selten über Betriebseigentum und ausreichende soziale Absicherung. Familien- und Partnerschaftsmodelle sind noch weitgehend traditionell gefärbt, so dass junge Frauen nur selten zu Hoferbinnen oder Betriebsnachfolgerinnen sozialisiert werden. Zugleich erschweren hohe Bodenpreise und geringer Zugang zu Krediten auch eine landwirtschaftliche Betriebsgründung durch Frauen...
