Abstract

Die Digitalisierung hat ein großes Potenzial, die Vereinbarkeit von Familie und Beruf zu verbessern, indem sie die starren Grenzen zwischen Arbeitszeit und privater Zeit aufzulösen hilft. Allerdings müssen mobil arbeitende Menschen häufiger als andere Beschäftigtengruppen in Kauf nehmen, dass sich private und berufliche Sphäre gegenseitig stören können. Nicht für jeden ist dies erstrebenswert. Ob die Digitalisierung ihr Potenzial erfüllt, hängt daher eher von den Präferenzen und Anforderungen der Menschen ab, weniger von den technologischen Möglichkeiten.
