Fachkräfte made in Osteuropa

Abstract

Zuwanderung aus den neuen EU-Mitgliedsländern hat in den letzten Jahren einen wichtigen Beitrag zur Fachkräftesicherung in Deutschland geleistet. So ist die Zahl der sozialversicherungspflichtig Beschäftigten aus diesen Ländern zwischen Januar 2010 und Mai 2017 von 254.000 auf 1,14 Millionen gestiegen. Gleichzeitig ist die Arbeitslosenquote von osteuropäischen EU-Bürgern von 15,2 auf 8,3 Prozent gesunken.
