Kapitalflüsse in die USA entlarven Steueroasen

Abstract

Ein halbes Jahr nach Inkrafttreten der Steuerreform in den USA sind erste Auswirkungen in den Statistiken zu beobachten - auch auf Europa. Allein in den ersten drei Monaten des Jahres 2018 transferierten US-Konzerne fast 300 Milliarden US-Dollar vom Ausland zurück in die USA. Vorne mit dabei sind die Niederlande und die Schweiz, wo der US-Bestand an Direktinvestitionen um 8 Prozent beziehungsweise 6 Prozent sank. Aus Deutschland ist dagegen bisher kein nennenswerter Kapitalabfluss festzustellen.
