Zuwanderung leistet einen großen Beitrag zur Wertschöpfung im Osten

Abstract

Insgesamt trugen Beschäftigte ohne deutsche Staatsangehörigkeit im Jahr 2025 rund 68,3 Milliarden Euro oder 10,5 Prozent zur Wertschöpfung in Ostdeutschland bei. Dabei gehen nicht nur altersbedingt zunehmend Arbeitskräfte verloren, sondern es zeichnet sich auch eine Rückwanderungsbewegung in die neuen EU-Mitgliedsländer ab. Daher muss die Zuwanderung von Arbeitskräften aus Drittstaaten gestärkt werden.
