Auswirkungen eines steigenden Ölpreises auf die deutsche Wirtschaft

Abstract

Der eskalierende Konflikt im Nahen und Mittleren Osten hat gravierende Implikationen für die wirtschaftliche Entwicklung. Ein Anstieg des Ölpreises auf 100 USDollar pro Barrel der Sorte Brent wäre mit Kosten für die deutsche Wirtschaft in Höhe von 0,3 Prozent des Bruttoinlandsprodukts (BIP) im Jahr 2026 und 0,6 Prozent im Jahr 2027 verbunden. Insgesamt wäre das ein Verlust an Wirtschaftsleistung in Höhe von etwa 40 Milliarden Euro über zwei Jahre.
